Role Overview
The Intern Estate Agent – Eersteriver opportunity is tailored for individuals who are ready to break into the dynamic world of real estate. This is a commission-based sales role that offers flexible work conditions, a supportive team environment, and career growth for those willing to put in the work. You’ll be involved in the full property sales lifecycle—from canvassing listings and hosting show houses to closing deals and managing client relationships.
Preference will be given to applicants residing in or near Eersteriver, and candidates must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and a personal laptop or tablet.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct lead generation and canvassing for new property listings

Collect and verify property data from sellers

Organize home staging and professional photography

Conduct valuations using market insights and pricing principles

Create tailored marketing strategies for each property

Host show days and manage all buyer-facing activities

Negotiate offers and facilitate communication between sellers and potential buyers

Liaise with mortgage brokers, conveyancers, and other stakeholders to ensure a seamless sales process

Stay informed about trends in the residential market in Eersteriver and surrounding areas

Provide informed advice to buyers and sellers while representing the Pam Golding brand professionally
Qualifications and Experience
To become a qualified estate agent under South African law, the following must be completed:

Registration with the Estate Agency Affairs Board (EAAB), now operating under the Property Practitioners Regulatory Authority (PPRA)

Obtain the Intern Fidelity Fund Certificate (FFC)
-
Complete the NQF Level 4 Real Estate Qualification

Compile a comprehensive Logbook of practical experience

Successfully pass the Professional Designation Exam (PDE)
Minimum Requirements

Matric / Grade 12 certificate

Valid South African driver’s license

Reliable personal vehicle

Own laptop or tablet and smartphone

Must reside in or around Eersteriver, Cape Town

Ability to sustain yourself financially for 6–8 months while building your client base
