Position Overview
The Administration Clerk will be responsible for the effective and timely management of all administrative functions within the Newcastle branch. This role is key to ensuring accurate documentation, efficient reporting, and smooth internal operations across the board. Key Responsibilities

Receive, file, and organize all delivery notes for incoming and outgoing stock

Perform ad-hoc receiving tasks as needed to support branch logistics

Ensure all documentation is processed correctly with consistent number sequences in the system

Maintain strong customer relationships and promptly resolve client queries

Generate critical reports including daily, weekly, and monthly reports (e.g., outstanding claims, negative stock reports, and purchase order status)

Assist with quarterly stock-taking processes and generate associated reports

Capture physical stock count sheets accurately into the system

Generate variance reports and escalate discrepancies to the line manager
Educational and Work Experience Requirements

Grade 12 (Matric) certificate is mandatory

A minimum of 1 year administrative experience, preferably in a similar industry

Exposure to stock control and documentation is an advantage

Working knowledge of logistics or agricultural systems is a plus
Technical and Behavioural Competencies
Technical Skills:

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Knowledge of inventory or ERP systems is advantageous
