This immersive, hands-on programme will expose you to the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and testing to development and strategic execution.

You’ll work with experienced product managers, data analysts, and UX designers to build innovative solutions that transform customer experiences across Africa.

🔍 Key Responsibilities

• 💡 Product Innovation & Validation

  • Learn to define, test, and validate new product ideas using data-driven decision-making.

  • Apply structured research methodologies to uncover customer needs and product-market fit.

• 🤝 Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with technical, business, and design teams to enhance and evolve transactional banking products.

  • Contribute to brainstorming sessions, sprint reviews, and product roadmap discussions.

• 📈 Strategy & Delivery Alignment

  • Support the development and execution of Standard Bank’s Transactional Product Strategy aligned to SBG’s overall mission.

  • Drive simplicity, coordination, and prioritization in product design, implementation, and continuous improvement.

🎓 Qualifications

To qualify, candidates must be currently enrolled in or have completed an Honours qualification in one of the following:

• Accounting

• Finance

• Business Economics
  Your Honours degree must be completed by 31 December 2025 to qualify.

📌 Minimum Requirements

• South African Citizenship

• 12 months or less work experience post-graduation

• Must submit full academic transcripts for both undergraduate and postgraduate studies

• Passion for innovation, customer experience, and product development

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
