👨‍💻 Role Overview

As an Engineer, BSD – Global Markets, you will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, debugging, and maintaining application systems in a development environment. This role is ideal for an experienced software engineer who is comfortable working in Agile environments and can apply modern engineering practices to deliver impactful solutions. Working under the Corporate & Investment Banking business unit, you’ll contribute to mission-critical systems that support global financial operations.

🧠 Key Responsibilities

Design, code, test, and debug programs within an Agile development framework
Apply agreed-upon programming standards and development methodologies
Collaborate with senior technical stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams
Maintain and document technical processes to ensure digital traceability
Conduct system enhancements and resolve defects to improve functionality
Build and execute moderate to complex test scenarios to validate code performance
Assist in the integration of new and existing data sources for improved data processing and visualization
Ensure compliance with architectural guardrails and application lifecycle practices
Support DevOps practices including automation and continuous delivery pipelines

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

Minimum Qualification: Degree in Information Technology or related field
Experience Required:
- 5–7 years: Experience translating business and technical requirements into working code
- 8–10 years: Experience in modern software engineering environments (Agile, DevOps, CI/CD)
- Broad IT engineering expertise, with specialization in one or more relevant technical domains
