🔍 Role Overview
As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all sales activities within your branch. Your primary focus will be on driving unit sales, managing team performance, enhancing the customer journey, and ensuring the seamless day-to-day operations of the sales floor.
This position is ideal for a candidate who thrives in a high-paced automotive retail environment and wants to take their leadership skills to the next level.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities

Manage and lead a team of Sales Executives to consistently meet or exceed unit and finance sales targets

Supervise daily sales floor operations including vehicle layout, pricing, and client experience
-
Ensure effective lead allocation and conversion while monitoring customer interactions and sales closing rates
-
Oversee vehicle stock management, including reserved units and aged inventory
-
Lead regular team meetings, performance reviews, and coaching sessions
-
Train and mentor team members to increase closing ratios and customer engagement
-
Promote and manage the integration of auxiliary services and products such as Netstar, OUTsurance, WalletDoc, and others
-
Resolve customer complaints efficiently to protect brand integrity and maintain client satisfaction
📋 Minimum Requirements
To qualify for this role, applicants must meet the following criteria:

Matric / Grade 12 certificate (Essential)

Tertiary qualification in Sales, Business, or Automotive Management (Advantageous)

Minimum 2 years’ experience in a team leader or sales manager role in a fast-paced environment

Minimum 2 years’ hands-on sales experience, preferably in the automotive industry

Valid driver’s license and own transport

Willingness to work on weekends and public holidays
