🧽 Role Overview
As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for ensuring the Hollywoodbets Umhlanga branch is consistently clean, hygienic, and presentable. You’ll help create a safe and welcoming environment for customers and staff alike.
This job is ideal for individuals with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work well without constant supervision.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness of the entire facility — both interior and exterior, including restrooms, kitchen areas, entrances, and car parks

Follow hygiene protocols to ensure all surfaces, machines, and furniture are sanitized

Regularly sweep, mop, vacuum, and deep-clean all floors and walls
-
Clean air conditioning filters weekly to ensure optimal air quality
-
Ensure rubbish bins are emptied, washed, and replaced with new liners
-
Wipe down tables, chairs, gaming equipment, and screens before and after branch hours
-
Keep supplies of cleaning products and request new stock when necessary
-
Notify the Branch Manager of any damages or broken items that need attention

Report broken or wobbly chairs/tables and ensure they are safe for use

Monitor and replace seat covers in gaming areas as needed
-
Adhere to uniform and personal hygiene standards at all times
🧾 Minimum Requirements
-
Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience (formal or informal)

Willingness to perform physical tasks and follow cleaning procedures

Ability to work shifts, including weekends and holidays
-
Must be presentable, punctual, and committed to excellent service
🎓 Preferred Qualifications

Matric (Grade 12) is advantageous but not mandatory

Experience in a hospitality, retail, or gaming environment is a plus
