💡 Role Overview
As a Graphic Design Team Leader, you’ll lead a talented creative team, ensuring the quality and consistency of visual output across various platforms and campaigns. You’ll be the critical link between the design pod, internal departments, and external clients, aligning strategic goals with stunning visual executions.
This role isn’t just about managing workflow — it’s about inspiring your team, refining design operations, and pushing the boundaries of creative innovation in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities

Lead, manage, and mentor a team of graphic designers, ensuring daily output aligns with quality and brand standards.

Coordinate and allocate work using a structured job ticket system, ensuring optimal productivity and turnaround time.

Oversee multiple creative portfolios within the design department, ensuring visual consistency across all deliverables.

Act as the liaison between the design team and other departments to clarify briefs, timelines, and scope of work.

Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and identify development needs.

Maintain quality control by reviewing drafts and final outputs to eliminate design errors and ensure alignment with brand guides.

Attend campaign meetings, gather requirements, and effectively brief designers based on campaign goals and deliverables.

Develop systems and processes to streamline workflow and file management within the design department.

Stay updated with the latest design tools, software, and industry trends to ensure competitive output and team growth.

Assign design champions based on individual strengths and oversee the development of junior designers and interns.

Ensure legal and brand compliance in all creative material delivered internally or externally.
🎓 Qualifications and Experience

Minimum 5 years of experience in a design-focused role

Proven track record of leading creative teams in high-volume environments

A diploma or degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, or related field (advantageous)

Excellent command of Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign

Strong project management and communication skills

Knowledge of current digital, print, and motion design trends

Experience in handling brand identity and campaign-driven design projects
