🧾 Role Overview

As a Temporary Cashier at VKB Milling, your role is to manage and control all cash transactions at the depot while maintaining excellent customer service standards. You will be responsible for daily cash sales, assisting clients, performing accurate stock counts, and supporting administrative tasks within the branch. This position requires someone who is trustworthy, energetic, numerate, and customer-service driven.

✅ Key Responsibilities

• Administer and control all cash transactions at the depot

• Perform paypoint sales efficiently and accurately

• Conduct daily stock counts and report variances

• Deliver excellent customer service at all times

• Assist with general administrative duties within the branch

• Maintain an accurate and organised cash drawer

• Ensure that all transactions comply with company policies and financial procedures

• Contribute to maintaining a clean and professional sales environment

📌 Requirements

• Grade 12 / NQF Level 4 qualification

• Clear criminal record

• Fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English

• Numerate and detail-oriented

• High level of energy and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to handle cash responsibly and accurately

• Physically fit and able to stand for long hours during shifts

• Willingness to work flexible hours as operationally required

• Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
