🧾 Role Overview

As Branch Manager, you will lead the operational, financial, and personnel functions of the Daniëlsrus Retail Branch. This role demands an individual with a strategic mindset and hands-on retail management experience, preferably within the agri-business sector. Your success in this role will be measured by your ability to drive profitability, optimize operations, manage stock, and maintain high customer satisfaction, all while complying with VKB Group’s policies and standards.

✅ Key Responsibilities

• Oversee financial management and profitability of the retail branch

• Implement and manage stock control processes within VKB’s operational framework

• Lead a medium to large team, including recruitment, mentoring, and performance management

• Ensure compliance with all VKB Group policies and relevant legislation

• Maintain and grow customer relationships by providing excellent service and handling queries professionally

• Apply creative business strategies to exceed sales targets and operational goals

• Drive operational excellence and ensure the branch contributes to strategic goals of the organization

📌 Requirements

• Grade 12 / NQF 4 (minimum)

• 5–7 years of retail branch management experience, preferably in an agricultural environment

• Proven ability to manage an agri-business profitably

• Demonstrated leadership experience in managing teams of various sizes

• Willingness to work after hours depending on operational needs

• Proficient in MS Office (Intermediate to Advanced level)

• Strong knowledge of agriculture-related retail operations is a major advantage
