📋 Role Overview

As a Branch Consultant, you will be the face of Finbond Mutual Bank to its clients. Your core responsibilities include delivering efficient client services, promoting financial products, maintaining proper administration, and helping the branch achieve its business targets. The role requires excellent communication skills, a sales-driven mindset, and attention to detail. You will be responsible for ensuring that customers receive accurate, timely, and courteous service at all times.

🧾 Key Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service by assisting walk-in clients and responding to their needs efficiently and professionally.

• Promote and cross-sell Finbond’s range of banking products and services, including loans, savings plans, and investment products.

• Accurately capture client information and documentation using Finbond’s systems and ensure all administrative tasks are completed correctly.

• Follow internal compliance and control procedures, including KYC (Know Your Customer), anti-money laundering (AML), and credit checks.

• Handle cash transactions in accordance with Finbond’s banking policies and ensure cash-ups are balanced daily.

• Assist in meeting monthly sales targets by identifying client needs and offering relevant financial solutions.

• Maintain the cleanliness and professional appearance of the branch environment.

• Provide ongoing support to team members and contribute to a positive work culture within the branch.

🎓 Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum Qualification: Matric (Grade 12)

• Experience: At least 6 months of relevant work experience in customer service, sales, banking, or administration

💡 Knowledge and Skills Required

• Basic office and administrative skills

• Effective interpersonal and communication abilities

• Strong sales orientation with the ability to upsell and close deals

• Solid numeracy and financial calculation skills

• Good command of English and one other official language in the area

• Ability to work independently and under pressure

• Computer literacy and comfort using digital systems and banking software
