📋 Role Overview
As a Sales Consultant (External), you will be accountable for pursuing sales growth, managing relationships, and ensuring that customer service excellence is upheld. Your role will involve identifying and seizing new business opportunities while maintaining a strong customer focus.

Sales Growth: Own and deliver on sales targets within the allocated portfolio, focusing on both volume and value growth.

Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with key customers, ensuring long-term, sustainable partnerships.

Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to drive cross-selling opportunities and maximize Absa’s offerings.

Customer Engagement: Represent Absa at external events, such as public forums, major events, and festivals, to promote products and services.

Target Achievement: Actively track and report on performance, adjusting strategies to ensure targets are consistently met.

Service Excellence: Ensure exceptional service delivery to clients through proactive problem-solving and needs-based selling.

✅ Qualifications and Experience
Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Banking or a related field

Proven track record in sales, with 2-3 years’ experience in a similar external sales role

Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients at all levels

Strong understanding of the banking industry and its products

FAIS-compliant, with the necessary accreditation

Valid driver’s license and own transport

Excellent communication and negotiation skills
