Role Overview
As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be the driving force behind Boxer’s recruitment efforts. Your mission? To source, screen, and secure top-tier talent that aligns with the company’s culture and values. You’ll partner with hiring managers across departments, streamline the recruitment process, and help shape the future workforce of one of South Africa’s most trusted retailers.
Minimum Requirements

Minimum of 10 years of end-to-end recruitment experience (preferably in an agency environment)

Proven passion for recruitment and talent sourcing

Strong LinkedIn sourcing, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and Microsoft Excel skills
-
Experience with AI-driven recruitment tools is advantageous

Excellent interpersonal skills with a collaborative and resilient mindset

Matric (Grade 12) is essential

A relevant diploma or degree is beneficial

In-office presence required – collaboration and personal interaction are core to our culture
Key Responsibilities
🔍 Full-Cycle Recruitment

Manage the end-to-end recruitment process across various departments and roles

Conduct thorough candidate screenings, interviews, and reference checks

Oversee offer management and ensure a smooth onboarding experience
🤝 Strategic Partnership with Hiring Managers

Work closely with hiring teams to understand job requirements

Offer consultative support to guide hiring decisions

Ensure recruitment practices align with Boxer’s values and diversity initiatives
📈 Talent Sourcing & Pipeline Building

Build proactive talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs

Leverage social media, job boards, and headhunting strategies to find top talent

Drive innovative sourcing techniques, including AI tools and data-driven recruitment strategies
🚀 Onboarding & Induction Support

Collaborate with HR teams to support smooth transitions for new hires

Help create a positive candidate and employee experience from offer to integration
