Role Overview
We are seeking hardworking, dedicated, and energetic individuals to fill General Worker positions at our Cape Town Distribution Centre. This is a fast-paced and physically active role best suited to candidates who are team-oriented, reliable, and eager to grow within a supportive warehouse environment. Roles are allocated based on your experience and qualifications, with opportunities to develop into specialized roles such as Forklift Operator, Reach Truck Driver, Picker, Auditor, and more.

Minimum Requirements
Education & Experience:

Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate is required
-
0–2 years of experience in a warehouse or distribution environment

Forklift or Reach Truck license is essential for operator roles
-
Basic proficiency in Excel is advantageous

Must be available to work day and night shifts, weekends (including Sundays), and public holidays

Duties and Responsibilities
Depending on the role you’re assigned, your responsibilities may include:
General Worker
-
Assist with the movement, sorting, and return of overstocked, damaged, or short-dated stock
-
Maintain cleanliness and safety across work areas
-
Support multiple warehouse functions as needed
Picker
-
Accurately pick stock for delivery based on picking slips
-
Ensure picked goods are handled carefully to prevent damage
-
Prepare items for packing and loading
Cycle Counter
-
Conduct routine counts of stock to ensure inventory accuracy
-
Help with reconciliation of stock variances
-
Report anomalies to supervisors
Forklift Driver
-
Operate forklifts to load and offload trucks

Move goods and pallets across the DC
-
Ensure safe operation and maintenance of equipment
Reach Truck Driver
-
Use reach trucks to place and retrieve stock from warehouse racking

Safely navigate high-bay shelving systems

Adhere to strict safety guidelines
Auditor
-
Verify outbound stock against documentation
-
Check for damages and expiration dates before dispatch

Ensure correct labelling and quality control
Combiner
-
Consolidate and shrink-wrap stock for safe and secure transport

Ensure orders are complete and ready for delivery
