Role Overview
Under Armour Canal Walk is currently seeking passionate and energetic Sales Assistants to join their retail team. This role is ideal for students or recent graduates in Retail Management, Fashion, or Sports Management who are looking to gain hands-on experience in a high-performance retail environment. As a Sales Assistant, you’ll be the face of the brand, providing world-class customer service, ensuring the store runs efficiently, and supporting the sales team in achieving key targets.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver an exceptional customer service experience by understanding customer needs and exceeding expectations.

Support customers with product knowledge and offer styling or sports-performance recommendations when needed.

Assist with daily store operations including stock replenishment, merchandising, stock takes, and visual displays.

Uphold the Under Armour store layout and visual identity to ensure a premium shopping experience.

Assist in achieving daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets and KPIs.

Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the store, ensuring a safe and welcoming space.

Work as part of a close-knit, performance-driven team, contributing to a positive work environment.

Support with administrative tasks as needed, including point-of-sale operations and customer service feedback logging.
Qualifications and Experience

Grade 12 or equivalent qualification required.

1–2 years of retail experience (preferably in fashion, sportswear, or lifestyle apparel) is advantageous.

Currently studying or recently graduated in Retail Management, Fashion, or Sports Management is preferred.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Energetic and passionate about sports, health, fitness, or fashion.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy retail environment.

Willingness to work flexible retail hours, including weekends and public holidays.
