Role Overview

Mango5 is currently recruiting highly driven and dynamic Sales Agents to join its growing team. As a Sales Consultant, you will play a key role in driving the company’s travel product sales through outbound telesales. This role is ideal for confident individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment and are passionate about customer engagement and closing deals.


Key Responsibilities

  • Engage potential and existing customers via outbound calls.

  • Effectively communicate and promote travel-related products and services.

  • Highlight key features and benefits of travel packages, and match them to customer needs.

  • Use persuasive techniques to overcome objections and close deals.

  • Consistently meet and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.

  • Establish a professional rapport with customers through engaging and empathetic communication.

  • Use approved scripts and adapt them to different customer profiles for more personalized interactions.

  • Accurately capture and update customer information in relevant systems.

  • Answer questions regarding travel packages and respond to customer concerns in a professional and efficient manner.

Qualifications and Experience

Minimum Requirements:

  • A Matric Certificate is required.

  • A minimum of 1 year of outbound telesales experience, preferably in a fast-paced call center environment.

  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.

Advantageous:

  • Additional education or certifications in sales or travel/tourism.

  • Previous experience in the travel industry is a strong advantage.

  • Familiarity with CRM systems, telephone dialing software, and computer proficiency.


Skills and Competencies

  • Fluency in English is essential; additional languages are an advantage.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • High resilience and ability to handle rejection in a professional manner.

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

  • Hours may be subject to change based on operational needs.


Remuneration and Benefits

  • Basic Salary: R6,000 per month.

  • Commission and Incentives: Uncapped earning potential based on performance.
