Role Overview

Senwes is seeking a qualified and motivated Engineer In Training (EIT) to join their team in Klerksdorp. This position is designed for a recent graduate in mechanical, electrical, or civil engineering who is eager to gain hands-on experience in project management, technical design, and process optimisation. Working closely with the Engineering Manager or discipline lead, the EIT will support high-impact engineering initiatives while developing essential professional skills.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct site investigations and audits for proposed engineering projects.

  • Assist in compiling Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and support the procurement process.

  • Report on the technical and financial feasibility of projects.

  • Monitor project execution to ensure technical accuracy and compliance with engineering standards.

  • Participate in project inspections and close-out procedures.

  • Assist with developing technical specifications for engineering solutions.

  • Collect, analyse, and interpret engineering data to inform decision-making.

  • Use theoretical engineering knowledge to design discipline-specific systems or components.

  • Execute CAD-based designs and verify technical feasibility using engineering analysis software.

Qualifications and Experience
