Role Overview
This is a YES Youth Opportunity aimed at youth aged between 18 and 28 who are eager to gain work experience in the retail sector. The role is a fixed-term, 12-month contract within Sneaker Factory at our Vredendal CBD store. The opportunity is perfect for individuals who are passionate about working in retail, have a positive attitude, and are excited to be part of a growing team.
Key Requirements

Age: Between 18 to 28 years old.

Education: Matric (preferable), or at least Grade 10.

Availability: Must be available for a fixed-term, 12-month contract.

Employment History: Should not have been permanently employed with the same employer for more than 1 year.

Full-Time Study: Must not be studying full-time during the year of employment (April 2023 – March 2024).

Previous Participation: Must not have participated or been registered in the YES programme before.

Accommodation & Transportation: Applicants must manage their accommodation and transportation to the workplace (if applicable).

Preference: Preference will be given to candidates from designated groups in terms of the Employment Equity Act.
