The Bruma branch is currently seeking a qualified and experienced Supervisor – Debtors Card/Cash & Support Services to join the Debtors team. This role is ideal for a seasoned financial professional with strong reconciliation, leadership, and administrative skills who is comfortable operating under pressure.

Role Overview
The purpose of this position is to support and manage a team within the Debtors department, with a particular focus on onboarding new customers, handling card and cash reconciliations, and providing assistance to both Operations and Customer Service teams. The supervisor will be instrumental in minimizing financial risk, ensuring prompt customer vetting, maintaining accurate records, and resolving queries effectively. The role demands a blend of administrative oversight, strategic planning, and people management.

Key Responsibilities
Supervise a team responsible for meeting monthly KPIs and deadlines.
Oversee daily interactions and manage queries from both internal and external stakeholders.
Drive the customer onboarding and vetting process to ensure only legitimate accounts are created.
Provide consistent support to branch-level operations regarding card and cash transactions.
Coordinate with banking institutions to facilitate smooth card processing across branches.
Manage the customer chargeback and dispute resolution processes.
Audit and oversee complimentary accounts to ensure compliance.
Authorize and oversee the refund process.
Administer centralized and prepaid fuel card invoicing.
Support finance functions with reconciliations, cashbook clearing, and clearing account maintenance.
Manage and reconcile bank accounts accurately and efficiently.
Produce month-end reports aligned with organizational standards.
Participate in departmental projects, process reviews, and change management initiatives.
Assist with internal and external audit processes as required.
Perform ad hoc duties at the discretion of management.

Qualifications and Experience
Education Requirements:
Matric (Grade 12) is essential.
A tertiary qualification in Finance (minimum NQF Level 6) is required.

Experience Requirements:
At least 3 years’ experience in card and cash reconciliations.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a supervisory capacity.
Prior experience in the car rental industry is a must.

Other Requirements:
A valid, unendorsed Code 08 driver’s license.
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Comfortable using business-specific systems and platforms.
