Role Overview
As a Store Manager at Totalsports, you will be responsible for ensuring the success of the store through effective leadership, driving sales, managing stock, and maintaining high customer satisfaction. Your role will involve managing the team, executing merchandising strategies, and ensuring the store operates efficiently while delivering the best customer experience possible. Key Responsibilities
Sales and Operations Management

Drive Turnover: Lead the store’s efforts to achieve and exceed sales targets, ensuring financial performance and profitability.

Expense Control: Monitor and control store expenses, working to achieve budgeted financial goals.

Stock Management: Manage stock losses, ensuring that shrinkage is kept within company standards and that stock levels are optimized.

Customer Satisfaction: Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring that customers’ needs are met and expectations exceeded.

In-Store Merchandising: Implement and maintain visual merchandising strategies in accordance with brand standards to enhance the shopping experience.
Team Leadership and Development

People Management: Lead, develop, and motivate a high-performance team. This includes recruitment, training, performance management, and fostering positive employee relations.

Strategy Execution: Ensure that store goals align with the overall company strategy and that the team works collaboratively to achieve those objectives.

Qualifications and Experience
Education

Matric certificate (Grade 12)
Experience

Minimum 3 years of retail experience, with at least 1 year of leadership experience in a store manager or similar position.

Sales and Negotiation: Strong selling skills with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
