Role Overview

We are seeking a Sales Associate to join our Totalsports team in Bloemfontein. In this customer-facing role, you will be the face of our brand, delivering an outstanding customer experience, helping our customers find the best products, and ensuring the store operates smoothly. As a Sales Associate, your primary responsibility will be driving sales, building strong customer relationships, and contributing to the store’s success.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service Excellence

  • Brand Ambassador: Represent Totalsports as a passionate brand ambassador, offering an exceptional customer experience and driving loyalty.

  • Customer Satisfaction: Exceed customer expectations by identifying their needs and providing the best possible solutions with a focus on customer service delivery.

  • Building Customer Loyalty: Establish long-term relationships with customers, ensuring repeat business and fostering trust.

Sales Performance and Stock Management

  • Sales Tracking: Actively monitor your sales performance, comparing results against targets and striving to exceed them.

  • Product Knowledge: Stay up to date with the latest trends in décor, fashion, and sports products, providing customers with expert advice on a wide range of products.

  • Replenishing Stock: Assist with replenishing stock to ensure that the store is always ready for customers, maintaining a visually appealing sales floor.

Teamwork and Initiative

  • Collaborate with the Team: Work effectively as part of the team to create a positive work environment and drive store performance.

  • Take Initiative: Proactively seek out opportunities for new sales, while ensuring tasks are completed independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Attention to Detail: Display a high level of attention to detail when handling products, transactions, and customer queries to ensure accuracy and quality.

Qualifications and Experience

Education

  • Grade 12 (Matric)

Experience and Skills

  • Strong Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
