Role Overview
Cape Town Multifranchise is currently seeking a professional and customer-oriented Receptionist. The role is designed to handle the front desk and serve as the first point of contact for visitors and clients. The receptionist will be responsible for managing incoming queries, directing visitors to the appropriate departments, answering calls, and providing general administrative support. This role is crucial in ensuring that the business presents a professional, welcoming image and delivers on its customer service promise.

Key Responsibilities
Provide prompt and professional reception duties including answering phone calls, responding to customer inquiries, and directing calls or visitors to the correct departments.
Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures and governance guidelines in all reception and administrative activities.
Maintain a clean, organized reception area and provide guests with a positive first impression of the business.
Assist customers with general inquiries, escalating complex or unresolved issues to the appropriate departments in a timely manner.
Record and report reception-related activities to provide accurate information that supports operational decision-making.
Support daily administrative functions, such as filing, faxing, photocopying, and data entry.
Execute work aligned to financial objectives to support efficient resource utilization and reduce operational waste.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver services that exceed customer expectations.
Attend relevant training sessions to enhance skills and stay updated on internal policies, system changes, and customer service practices.
Uphold and embody the company’s values in every customer and colleague interaction.

Qualifications and Experience
Minimum Educational Requirements
Matric (Grade 12) is essential.
NQF Level 4 qualification or higher (Higher Certificate or Advanced National Certificate preferred).

Experience
1 – 2 years of experience in a similar reception or front office environment.
Prior experience within the automotive or motor industry will be highly advantageous.
