The MVG Host / Hostess will play a key role in promoting the Sun MVG Loyalty Programme while ensuring a memorable and enjoyable experience for all guests.

Role Overview
As an MVG Host / Hostess, you will be the frontline point of contact for the Sun MVG Loyalty Programme. Your responsibilities will include providing outstanding service to Sun MVG members and all guests, managing loyalty programme operations, and ensuring that all guest interactions are conducted with the highest standards of professionalism and care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Service Preparation: Ensure all equipment and workstations are ready for service. Restock materials and check cleanliness before starting shifts.

  • Loyalty Programme Administration: Promote and explain the benefits of the MVG Loyalty Programme to guests. Handle sign-up, data validation, point redemption, and resolve any related queries.

  • Creating Customer Experiences: Greet and assist guests with a warm welcome, addressing their preferences and providing information about the facility’s offerings. Upsell services and ensure all guest needs are met.

  • Problem Solving: Proactively address customer concerns or complaints, ensuring quick resolutions and a positive experience.

  • Accountability: Follow operational processes, ensuring compliance with company policies and gaming regulations. Manage customer requests and escalate issues to leadership when needed.

Qualifications and Experience Required

  • Grade 12, with at least Maths Literacy.

  • 2-4 years of experience in a customer-facing role.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle conflict.

  • Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

  • Experience with gaming products, loyalty programs, and compliance regulations.

  • Proficient in MS Office and basic typing skills.

  • Familiarity with SVC, Opera PMS, EGS, or Promo Exec is a plus.
