BUCO Voortrekker is seeking an efficient and detail-oriented Admin Clerk to join its high-performing team, supporting both operational and HR administration in the store.
Role Overview:
The Admin Clerk will be responsible for a wide range of administrative duties, supporting both the financial and human resource departments. This includes invoice processing, document filing, stock and creditor reconciliation, and HR onboarding and reporting. The role also requires relief duties at reception and cashier points when needed. This is an excellent opportunity for a well-organized professional looking to grow within a dynamic retail environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Professionally provide relief reception and cashier services as needed

File customer invoices (debtors’ accounts) accurately and promptly

Assist in cycle counts and inventory audits
-
Organize and compile month-end financial statements
-
Maintain business transaction records and perform routine clerical duties

Accurately capture Goods Received Notes (GRNs) and Credit Voucher Returns (CVRs)
-
Match GRNs to supplier invoices and process discrepancies for damaged or incorrectly received goods

Reconcile creditor accounts with supplier statements

Resolve supplier queries professionally and efficiently

Ensure timely document submissions for onboarding new employees

Maintain and update personnel files, manage leave forms, WCA claims, and disciplinary records

Assist with employment equity and skills development reporting under the guidance of the Store Accountant

Support recruitment administration and job advertising processes when required

Maintain accurate filing systems for unmatched GRNs, delivery notes, orders, and buy-outs

Promote and uphold BUCO’s core values and store culture at all times
Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum Requirements:

Grade 12 / Matric
-
National Certificate in Business Management N4 – N6 or Human Resources N4 – N6

At least 3 years of general administration experience, preferably in a retail or warehouse environment

Attention to detail and a proactive approach

Sound understanding of inventory and creditor processes

Good communication and interpersonal abilities

Computer literacy and knowledge of retail or accounting systems
