Fidelity Services Group is looking for a highly qualified Site Manager – Mining to join our team and oversee site operations in Emalahleni and Middelburg, Mpumalanga. This is a critical role for individuals with strong mining site experience and a solid understanding of security management within a high-risk environment. As a Site Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that security operations are conducted effectively and in accordance with the client’s expectations and service level agreements (SLA).

Key Responsibilities
As the Site Manager – Mining, you will be responsible for:

Client Relations Management: Maintaining strong relationships between Fidelity Security Services and clients, ensuring that security services are delivered as per the agreed terms.

Daily Operations: Managing daily security operations, providing feedback to management and clients, and ensuring that security officers are posted according to the client’s requirements and SLA.

Reporting: Compiling and distributing daily, weekly, and monthly reports on security operations. This includes incident, accident, and investigation reports.

Investigation and Documentation: Conducting investigations as needed, obtaining statements, and ensuring comprehensive reporting of all incidents.

Security Officer Deployment: Ensuring timely posting of security officers to provide full site coverage during both day and night shifts, in line with client agreements.

Staff Management: Supervising and managing security staff, including handling disciplinary actions, attending CCMA and Labour Court hearings if required, and maintaining compliance with industry standards.

Risk Assessment: Continuously assessing and improving security services by identifying risks and implementing strategies to minimize access points for potential security threats.

Auditing and Compliance: Verifying access registers and generating exception reports to ensure compliance with security protocols.
Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:

Education: Grade 12 (Matric) certificate or equivalent.

Experience:
-
Minimum of 2–5 years’ supervisory or management experience in a site security role, ideally within a mining environment.

Proven staff management experience is essential.
-
A strong understanding of mining site operations and security requirements.
-

Certifications:
-
PSIRA Grade A/B registered and accredited (must be current).
-
A clean criminal record with no pending cases.
-
Valid driver’s license and reliable transport.
-

Skills:
-
Computer literacy is required.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Exceptional organizational and planning skills.

Ability to work independently and handle pressure.

Knowledge of investigative techniques and report writing.

Strong interpersonal and client liaison abilities.

Willingness to work extended or flexible hours when required.

Physically fit and in good health.
