Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Sales and Warehouse Manager to lead our Sales Centre in Gqeberha. This role is pivotal in managing resources, controlling costs, achieving targets, and ensuring overall profitability while delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:

Budget and Cost Management:
-
Effectively manage budgets and control costs to drive improved profitability of the Sales Centre.

Implement cost reduction strategies in warehouse operations through improved picking and packing processes and reduction of storage picks, ensuring effective service delivery.

Customer Service:
-
Build strong business relationships and provide excellent customer service by actively engaging with customers to minimize complaints and efficiently address queries.

Operational Excellence:
-
Drive world-class operations and housekeeping methodologies in the Sales Centre by implementing and controlling processes, visual management, stock delivery, and equipment maintenance.

Health and Safety Compliance:
-
Ensure effective health and safety management to maintain a safe working and business environment.

Warehouse Management:
-
Implement, manage, and control inventory, stock, and logistics, escalating any variances or concerns for action.

Financial and Administrative Reporting:
-
Ensure timely compliance with all financial and administrative reporting requirements, including achieving necessary budget ratios to effectively control costs.

Staff Management and Development:
-
Effectively manage staff through disciplinary procedures and develop and mentor them through talent management and Individual Development Plan (IDP) processes to drive capability in the business.

Ensure effective communication of relevant information to all stakeholders to support effective decision-making for the business.

Qualifications and Experience:

Education:
-
Grade 12 (Matric)
-
Higher Certificate or Diploma in Operations or Business Management

Experience:

5 years’ experience in Warehouse Management or Office Management
-
2 years’ leadership and management experience
-
5 years’ experience in the packaging or warehouse industry
