Job Overview
The Projects Manager (Commercial Buildings) role will be responsible for overseeing all site improvements, building alterations, new builds, design, and floor planning for Hollywoodbets’ commercial properties. The successful candidate will manage the entire lifecycle of building projects, from planning submissions to completion, ensuring that projects meet quality standards, budget requirements, and timelines. This position also involves managing a team of professionals and contractors, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and maintaining a focus on cost-effectiveness and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
As the Projects Manager at Hollywoodbets, you will be responsible for:
Projects Management:

Manage site improvements, building alterations, and new builds for Hollywoodbets’ commercial properties.

Oversee planning submissions and applications for the Group.
-
Supervise quantity surveying, tender processes, and review capital expenditure (capex) forecasts and quotations.

Manage the national specifications for all construction projects and alterations.

Assist in identifying sites for new branches and assessing properties for new business or branch relocations.

Oversee the retail branch expansion, including new business, relocations, and renovations.

Lead and manage a team of professionals (interior designers, quantity surveyors, architects, engineers) to create and implement floor plans and branch layouts based on customer and product requirements.

Work closely with the operations and design teams to scope branch branding, fittings, and layout requirements, ensuring the flow and aesthetic of each branch.

Manage contractors (plumbing, electrical, air-conditioning, etc.) and liaise closely with landlords.

Ensure that all construction projects comply with Health and Safety regulations and that relevant compliance certificates are obtained.

Oversee the closure of branches, ensuring that the premises meet landlord requirements and remove fittings where necessary.

Scrutinize costs and challenge the pricing of services and goods to ensure the best value for the company.
Project Execution:

Implement sound project management principles to ensure projects are completed within set timeframes and meet operational requirements.

Ensure all certificates, plans, and related work are saved correctly and in accordance with regulations.

Manage the execution of Corporate Social Investment (CSI) and Foundation projects, including repairs, alterations, and new builds.
