Job Overview:
PG Group, a leader in the automotive glass industry, is seeking a Fitment Centre Leader to manage operations at our Silverlakes Fitment Centre in Gauteng. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire operation of the Fitment Centre, ensuring alignment with company standards, and driving key business and operational objectives. This role is pivotal to the success of the centre by focusing on customer satisfaction, revenue generation, stock management, and team performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Management:

Plan, lead, and organize the entire operation of the Fitment Centre.

Ensure the alignment of operational activities and resources to PG Group’s business strategy.

Drive a culture of trust, communication, and cooperation within the team, ensuring that all team members are motivated and focused on achieving Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Effectively manage and hold staff accountable through performance reviews, discipline, and mentorship.

Sales & Revenue Generation:
-
Achieve company budgets through generating sales, building and maintaining a customer base, and effectively managing stock and cash flow.

Implement strategies for converting opportunities into sales and ensure effective stock control and cash management practices.

Monitor and ensure strict adherence to company processes to ensure sustainable profitability and growth.

Customer Service Excellence:

Ensure exceptional customer service by training and empowering staff to meet customer expectations.

Manage Net Promoter Scores (NPS) and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

Actively listen to customer feedback and drive continuous improvement based on insights gathered.

Compliance & Risk Management:
-
Enforce and ensure compliance with company standards and operational procedures.

Conduct regular checks on counter sales, review Price Purchase Variance (PPV), and Internal Transfer of Stock (ITS) to minimize stock loss.

Use end-of-day reports to monitor performance and mitigate risks.

Continuous Improvement & Development:

Embrace new business-related learning opportunities and industry-leading improvements.

Ensure the ongoing development of the team through effective talent management and Individual Development Plans (IDP).

Qualifications:

Education:
-
General Management Diploma (essential for internal candidates).

Relevant Commerce Degree is preferred.

Experience:
-
6 years of overall experience in a similar role.

At least 3 years of management experience in a fast-paced environment.

Extensive knowledge of PG Glass products and company procedures.

Key Skills:

Strong business acumen and a solid understanding of financial management and budgeting.

Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.

Ability to handle problem-solving and make decisions quickly under pressure.
