Key Responsibilities of a CIT Custodian
As a CIT Custodian with Fidelity Services Group, your primary responsibilities will include:

ATM Loading & Cash Handling: You will be tasked with securely loading client ATMs daily, ensuring that all cash transactions are properly accounted for. You will also handle all aspects of cash management, from loading to transaction verification.

Security & Asset Protection: Ensuring the security of all client assets is a crucial part of the job. You’ll follow all standard operating procedures to guarantee the safety of valuable cash and equipment during collection and delivery processes.

Maintenance & Technical Support: You will be expected to identify and report technical faults or issues with ATMs and assist with the resolution of these problems. Ensuring that all equipment is in optimal working condition is critical to maintaining operational efficiency.

Client Interactions & Customer Service: Maintaining excellent relationships with clients and providing high-quality customer service will be essential. You’ll be the face of Fidelity Services Group during your daily operations, interacting with clients and offering support when needed.

Essential Qualifications and Experience
To be considered for the CIT Custodian position at Fidelity Services Group, applicants must meet the following requirements:

Clear Criminal Record: A clean criminal record is required to ensure the integrity and trustworthiness necessary for handling cash and valuable assets.

PSIRA Accreditation: A minimum Grade B PSIRA certification is essential for this role. This accreditation ensures you have the necessary knowledge and skills to perform security-related tasks effectively.

Firearm Competency: Applicants must have completed firearm training in both handgun and rifle handling, and hold the necessary SAPS competency certificate for operating firearms.

CIT Certificate: A Cash-in-Transit (CIT) Certificate is required, demonstrating that you are fully trained in the procedures of transporting and handling cash securely.

Experience in the Security Industry: At least 2 years of experience in the security industry or a similar role is preferred. Experience handling cash and operating security systems will give you a competitive edge.

Driver’s License: A valid driver’s license is required for this role, as driving is part of the daily duties. A Code C1 license with a valid PrDP (Professional Driving Permit) is essential.
