Job Overview
VKB Mechanization in Polokwane is looking for a General Worker to assist in a workshop environment. This role involves manual labor, stock control, cleaning duties, and customer assistance. The ideal candidate should be hardworking, physically fit, and able to perform hands-on tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
1. General Duties & Workshop Support

Perform general tasks in the workshop and storage areas.

Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the workshop, premises, and buildings.

Assist workshop mechanics with various tasks as required.

Carry out basic maintenance and housekeeping duties.
2. Stock Control & Handling
-
Load and offload stock safely and efficiently.

Follow company policies and procedures when handling stock.

Ensure proper storage and organization of materials.
3. Customer & Supplier Assistance

Help customers and suppliers with loading and offloading of goods.

Provide friendly and professional service to clients.

Follow all health and safety protocols when assisting customers.
4. Manual Labour & Physical Work

Perform heavy lifting and manual labor tasks as needed.

Assist with the movement and transportation of heavy equipment.

Ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
Minimum Requirements
📌 Education & Qualification:

Grade 12 / NQF4 certificate (compulsory).
📌 Experience & Skills:

Previous experience in a tractor workshop or agricultural environment (advantageous).

Ability to handle heavy equipment and perform manual labor.

Service-oriented mindset with good customer interaction skills.

Attention to detail in handling stock and workshop tasks.

Excellent health and physical fitness.
