Role Overview: Agricultural Technician (Bethlehem)
AFGRI is seeking two Technicians to join our team in Bethlehem. This role focuses on the repair and maintenance of agricultural machinery and related equipment. As a Technician, you will provide exceptional service by ensuring that all equipment is maintained to a high standard, helping to meet client needs and ensuring machinery operates efficiently. This role demands technical expertise, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Repair and Maintenance

Perform repairs and routine maintenance on tractors and agricultural equipment.

Ensure that all equipment is in excellent working condition, adhering to safety standards and company protocols.

Troubleshoot issues effectively and provide timely solutions to minimize downtime.
2. Customer Service

Offer excellent customer service, addressing any concerns and providing feedback to clients regarding equipment performance.

Work directly with clients to explain repair procedures and maintenance schedules.

Ensure customer satisfaction through efficient and professional service.
3. Housekeeping and Risk Minimization

Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following established housekeeping practices.

Ensure compliance with safety guidelines to minimize potential risks.

Take proactive steps to ensure the longevity of the equipment and prevent frequent breakdowns.
4. Time Management

Adhere to time schedules and complete tasks within set deadlines.

Prioritize tasks to ensure efficient repair services and maintain productivity.
Minimum Requirements:
Education & Experience
-
N2 Qualified Technician.

A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, including training as an apprentice in the agricultural sector or a similar field.
Technical Knowledge & Competencies

Strong product knowledge in the repair and maintenance of agricultural equipment, specifically tractors.

Ability to troubleshoot and analyze equipment malfunctions.

Good time-keeping abilities to ensure all tasks are completed promptly.

Strong communication skills to interact effectively with both clients and team members.
