Key Responsibilities
As an intern at AFGRI Logistics, you will work closely with a cross-functional team to complete a Work Integrated Learning (WIL) project assigned by your Line Manager. This hands-on experience is designed to help you integrate the theory and principles learned in the classroom into practical, real-world situations.
Your role will involve gaining on-the-job work experience that is directly aligned with your qualifications and career aspirations. The projects you’ll be involved in will give you an understanding of the different aspects of logistics and supply chain management, allowing you to build your skill set in the field. Throughout the internship, you will have the opportunity to support various teams with project work, contributing to ongoing business objectives and organizational goals.
In addition to your core responsibilities, you may be required to perform additional tasks to support the operations of the logistics department. Minimum Requirements
To be eligible for the internship, applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:

South African citizenship is required to apply for this position.

Applicants must currently be enrolled in or planning to register for the final year of a National Diploma in Logistics or Supply Chain Management at a recognized higher education institution in South Africa in 2025.

The Work Integrated Learning (WIL) component must be a compulsory requirement for the completion of your qualification, meaning that the internship is essential to the completion of your academic program.

Good academic performance will be strongly advantageous during the selection process. Applicants should have a solid academic record, as this will reflect your commitment and work ethic.

You must have no prior full-time work experience (more than 1 year) in your field of study.

Applicants should be based in or close to Centurion, as the internship will require your presence at the AFGRI Logistics head office in the city.

Successful candidates will be enrolled in the internship program starting in 2025.
