Key Responsibilities

As an intern at AFGRI Logistics, you will work closely with a cross-functional team to complete a Work Integrated Learning (WIL) project assigned by your Line Manager. This hands-on experience is designed to help you integrate the theory and principles learned in the classroom into practical, real-world situations.

Your role will involve gaining on-the-job work experience that is directly aligned with your qualifications and career aspirations. The projects you’ll be involved in will give you an understanding of the different aspects of logistics and supply chain management, allowing you to build your skill set in the field. Throughout the internship, you will have the opportunity to support various teams with project work, contributing to ongoing business objectives and organizational goals.

In addition to your core responsibilities, you may be required to perform additional tasks to support the operations of the logistics department. These could include assisting in various logistical duties, collaborating with different departments, and helping the team complete any ad-hoc work needed to achieve the business’s overall objectives. This exposure will help you gain a well-rounded understanding of logistics operations and the supply chain process.

Key Performance Areas

The internship will involve engaging with several key performance areas that will help shape your learning experience at AFGRI Logistics:

  1. Work Integrated Learning Project – Interns will work with a cross-functional team to complete a specific WIL project that aligns with their career aspirations and qualifications. Duration of the Programme

The internship is a 12-month fixed-term contract, giving you ample time to immerse yourself in the daily operations of a logistics department, gain substantial experience, and make valuable contributions to AFGRI Logistics. Successful candidates will be enrolled in the internship program starting in 2025.
