We are looking for a Delivery Manager to lead and manage medium to large-scale projects, ensuring successful execution from start to finish. If you have strong project management experience, leadership skills, and a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget, this opportunity is for you!
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Delivery
✔ Initiate and define projects, compiling project charters and registers, and obtaining approval from the project sponsor and Delivery Lead.
✔ Plan, manage, and deliver a portfolio of projects on time, within scope, and on budget, adhering to corporate governance and SBV’s Project Management Methodology.
✔ Manage change control processes for project scope, time, cost, and quality adjustments.
✔ Identify potential risks and develop risk mitigation strategies.
✔ Collaborate on procurement strategies for project materials and ensure proper vendor coordination and procurement deliverables.
✔ Monitor financial performance, ensuring projects stay on budget and escalate financial anomalies when necessary.
✔ Conduct project close-outs, ensuring all deliverables are met and signed off by stakeholders.
Administrative Support & Efficiency
✔ Develop and maintain administrative tools, such as dashboards and project libraries, to ensure timely and accurate documentation.
✔ Perform administrative duties like facilitating project meetings, processing invoices, and reporting on progress.
✔ Ensure documentation is accurately filed and archived for record-keeping and auditing purposes.
✔ Propose improvements to streamline administrative practices and increase efficiency.
Stakeholder & Communication Management
✔ Oversee stakeholder management throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring alignment and smooth collaboration.
✔ Design and manage communication matrices to keep stakeholders informed and ensure effective communication within the project team.
✔ Lead steering committee meetings and progress reviews, ensuring transparency and alignment with project goals.
✔ Provide regular updates and feedback to all project stakeholders on progress and any escalations.
Team Leadership & Governance
✔ Provide guidance to direct and indirect reports to ensure that project deliverables are met in line with strategic objectives.
✔ Ensure governance and compliance with the six project constraints: scope, time, cost, quality, risks, and resources.
✔ Offer performance feedback and updates to the Delivery Lead and senior management.
People Management & Organizational Culture
✔ Foster a productive, engaging, and positive environment that drives team performance and high morale.
✔ Inspire and motivate teams to meet key performance indicators.
✔ Ensure compliance with legislative requirements and organizational policies and procedures.
✔ Lead talent management initiatives, ensuring high-value contributors are recognized and nurtured.
✔ Oversee disciplinary procedures in alignment with statutory and internal policy requirements.
Change Management & Organizational Integration
✔ Act as a change management architect, ensuring smooth transitions during periods of change.
✔ Lead the integration of business units to provide seamless solutions for customers.
✔ Effectively communicate new processes and procedures, and address any challenges or concerns that arise.
✔ Facilitate presentations, workshops, and forums to ensure accurate communication across all business units.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
📌 Education:
✔ 3-year degree or diploma in a relevant field.
📌 Experience & Skills:
✔ 5+ years of experience in managing the delivery and execution of medium to large-scale projects.
✔ Experience in the banking/financial sector is advantageous.
✔ Proficiency in MS Office Suite at an Intermediate level.
📌 Certifications (Advantageous):
✔ CAPM, Prince 2, or other relevant project management certifications.
