Job Purpose:

To optimize sales and exceed customer expectations by implementing the operations strategy and effectively managing staff. This role ensures high store standards are maintained and focuses on leading and developing a team to drive sales and operational success.

Minimum Requirements:

• Retail Experience: 2 years, including at least 1 year in a supervisory or management role.
• Merchandise Management & Stock Control: Demonstrated ability in effective stock and cost management.
• Store Standards: Ability to maintain high standards in store presentation, cleanliness, and organization.
• Team Leadership: Proven ability to influence, lead, and develop a team to meet performance targets.
• Communication: Effective in English (both written and verbal), and proficiency in a second official language is a plus.
• Qualifications:
  • Grade 12 or equivalent.
  • Further qualifications in retail or business will be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the brand custodian for the store, ensuring all operations align with the company’s values and goals.
• Optimize sales by executing the operations strategy and ensuring the store meets targets.
• Lead and manage a team of staff, fostering a culture of motivation, growth, and performance.
• Maintain outstanding merchandise management, ensuring stock levels are controlled, and cost management is in place.
• Ensure the store environment meets the highest standards of cleanliness and visual appeal.
• Develop staff through continuous training and coaching to enhance team performance and individual growth.
