Key Responsibilities

1. Customer Service Excellence
   • Help customers find products and resolve queries or complaints.
   • Create a welcoming shopping experience.
2. Cashier Tasks
   • Handle cash and card payments, Lay-Bys, and refunds.
   • Balance tills and report discrepancies to supervisors.
3. Merchandising
   • Price and display stock accurately.
   • Keep the sales floor stocked and tidy.
   • Stay updated on promotions.
4. Risk Management
   • Tag products per company policy.
   • Assist with stock takes.
   • Watch for shoplifting or suspicious activity and alert management.
5. Values
   • Uphold Ackermans’ values, policies, and procedures in all tasks.

Skills & Experience

• Excellent customer service and communication skills (fluent in English; additional languages a plus).
• Tenacious, high-energy, and target-driven.
• Previous retail experience is a bonus but not required.
