Job Description
As a Shelfpacker, you will be responsible for managing resources to maximize turnover and minimize stock shortages. You will ensure that all store processes, policies, and standards are adhered to while maintaining a tidy and well-organized store.
Key Responsibilities:
- Stock management: Stack and store products safely and according to standards.
- Merchandise products: Follow merchandising standards to ensure product presentation is maintained.
- Stock rotation: Check quality, rotate stock, and remove expired products.
- Prevent wastage: Minimize shrinkage, damages, and wastage.
- Cold chain maintenance: Check temperatures and ensure the cold chain is maintained (if applicable).
- Hygiene and safety: Ensure cleanliness and safe working conditions in all areas.
- Pricing checks: Ensure correct pricing and labels on products.
- Security procedures: Adhere to security protocols and guidelines.
- Customer service: Respond to customer queries in a courteous and professional manner.
- Promote products: Actively promote products to customers.
