About the Role
Are you a sales-driven, customer-focused individual looking for an exciting opportunity in retail sales? Dial•a•Bed is looking for a Sales Consultant to maximize sales, provide excellent customer service, and maintain a well-presented showroom.
Key Responsibilities
✅ Sales & Customer Service:
- Maximize sales performance and meet/exceed sales targets.
- Deliver exceptional customer service at all times.
- Assist shoppers in finding products suited to their needs.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on product selection.
✅ Store Operations & Administration:
- Ensure the showroom is always presentable.
- Manage stock control and merchandising.
- Process cash and card payments accurately.
- Balance cash registers with receipts.
- Handle customer refunds and resolve complaints professionally.
- Maintain security standards, being alert to shoplifters or fraudulent activities.
- Receive, store, and manage large stock deliveries.
✅ Sales & Promotions Knowledge:
- Stay up to date with special promotions and assist in setting up displays.
- Attach price tags and maintain correct pricing on the sales floor.
- Work within established brand guidelines.
Qualifications & Experience
✔ Matric certificate (Grade 12) required.
✔ 2 – 3 years of retail sales experience.
✔ Proven track record of achieving +100% to sales targets and selling over R350k monthly.
✔ Experience in mattress or furniture sales preferred.
✔ Computer literacy is essential.
