Job Description
The General Assistant is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the business unit by performing various tasks according to operational needs. The role includes assisting customers, loading and offloading vehicles, ensuring stock is neatly packed, and maintaining cleanliness in the yard and store.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Customers and Drivers: Prepare orders and assist with loading and offloading vehicles.
- Maintain Stock: Ensure yard stock items are neatly packed and accessible for customers.
- Cleanliness and Safety: Keep vehicles clean and ensure safe loading.
- Workshop/Joinery Assistance: Provide support to customers and suppliers.
- Wash Bay Activities: Accurately complete wash bay tasks.
- Stock Organization: Ensure store shelves and other items are neatly packed and accessible.
