The VKB Group, a leading agricultural company supporting farmers and producing high-quality food products, is looking for a Silo Manager for the Sonop Grain Depot. This role offers an exciting opportunity for those with solid management experience in agriculture and silo operations.
Key Responsibilities
✔ Grain Flow Monitoring – Oversee continuous monitoring of grain movement.
✔ Grain Protection – Ensure grain is protected through regular fumigation.
✔ Temperature Control – Monitor grain tube temperature and report deviations.
✔ Silo Operations – Operate the silo in accordance with VKB Group policies.
✔ Inventory & Financial Management – Handle inventory and financial administration.
✔ Infrastructure & General Management – Manage depot infrastructure and oversee daily operations.
✔ Customer Service – Maintain high-quality service to all stakeholders.
Requirements
✔ Grade 12 or NQF4
✔ New Manager’s Program Completion (or relevant)
✔ 3-5 Years of Proven Industry Management Experience
✔ Grain Grading & Silo Operating Courses
✔ Computer Literacy (MS Office)
