Key Purpose
Serve as a servant-leader for the Scrum Team, helping them perform at their highest level.
Facilitate a self-managed team that is motivated, predictable, and transparent, delivering quality work while adhering to Agile values, principles, and practices.
Remove impediments to team progress and implement Agile best practices.
Foster a culture of collaboration between development teams, business, and management.
Encourage a high-performance, self-organizing team focused on achieving sprint goals.
Act as a master facilitator to ensure efficient Agile processes.

Key Responsibilities
Act as Scrum Master for two Scrum teams, guiding them to continuous improvement.
Facilitate Scrum Events (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, Backlog Grooming).
Assist the Product Owner in prioritizing and scheduling work to meet delivery timelines.
Ensure regular backlog grooming to maintain work readiness.
Mentor the development team towards self-organization and ownership of the product.
Build a high-performing team by improving team dynamics, resolving conflicts, and fostering growth.
Protect the team from interruptions to maximize productivity.
Identify and resolve impediments that hinder team performance.
Ensure teams make achievable sprint commitments using velocity data and team availability.
Maintain adherence to Definition of Ready (DoR) and Definition of Done (DoD).
Highlight risks and issues that may impact delivery and address them proactively.
Ensure teams and stakeholders understand and follow Agile principles and the Scrum process.
Create and maintain visibility through artefacts like Weekly Sprint Reports and Release Projections.
Continuously grow and share Agile knowledge within the organization.

Education and Experience
Tertiary degree (B.Eng, B.Com, BSc).
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Scrum Practitioner certification.
Experience with Kanban methodologies.
Strong knowledge of the software development life cycle.
Proficiency in Jira and Confluence.
Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken).
2-4 years experience as a Scrum Master.
2+ years experience working in an Agile environment across various situations.
