Job Description
An exciting opportunity is available for an individual to join our Edenvale Branch as a Retail Shop Assistant in the tools and machinery division. We are looking for a young, dynamic individual eager to develop their career in a fast-growing and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Merchandising: Arrange products to attract customer interest.
- Customer Service: Assist customers in selecting tools and machinery, providing excellent service.
- Sales: Drive sales through product knowledge and customer engagement.
- Stock Control: Manage stock levels, assist with stocktaking, and ensure stock accuracy.
- General Retail Procedures: Follow branch protocols to maintain smooth operations.
Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Senior Certificate (Grade 12)
- Previous experience in retail (preferably in merchandising, stock control, and customer service).
- Technical knowledge in the DIY or hardware environment would be an advantage.
- Reliability, honesty, and the ability to function as a team player.
Package & Remuneration:
Salary is market-related and negotiable, with added benefits.
Working Hours:
- Monday – Friday: 08:00 – 17:00
- Saturday: 08:00 – 13:00
