Job Description
We are looking for a dynamic and passionate individual to join our Brackenfell Branch as a Retail Shop Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity for a young individual eager to learn about the tools and machinery industry, and develop a successful career in sales and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales & Customer Service: Providing excellent service to customers and promoting products.
- Merchandising & Stock Control: Ensuring product displays are well-stocked and organized.
- Stock Taking: Participating in regular stock audits and inventory checks.
- Branch Procedures: Adhering to general retail branch procedures to ensure smooth operations.
Additional Responsibilities:
- You will also be expected to work closely with customers to help them with their purchasing decisions.
Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Senior Certificate (Grade 12)
- Retail or Sales experience in merchandising, stock control, and customer service
- Technical knowledge in the DIY tools or hardware environment is a strong advantage
- Ability to function as a team player and demonstrate reliability, honesty, and a strong work ethic
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday: 08:00 AM – 05:00 PM
- Saturdays: 08:00 AM – 01:00 PM
Package & Remuneration:
The salary is negotiable based on experience, with benefits available.
