About the Role

TotalEnergies is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Inbound Planner to manage inventory control and packaging for production. This role ensures that resources required for manufacturing are available while balancing cost, quantity, and quality constraints. The Inbound Planner collaborates with Purchasing and Production Planning teams and may visit vendor sites to ensure smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Ordering of Packaging (Local Supply)

  • Work with Purchasing to source locally supplied packaging.
  • Monitor scheduled deliveries from vendors to ensure production runs smoothly.
  • Expedite materials when there are delivery delays.
  • Manage stock levels for all local packaging materials.
  • Provide forecasting data to suppliers for local packaging.

2. Working Capital Management

  • Conduct monthly stock counts and reconciliation per TotalEnergies’ policies.
  • Optimize the MRP tool to reduce working capital while maintaining customer service.
  • Submit monthly forecasts for all local packaging requirements.

3. HSEQ (Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality)

  • Ensure all LMP purchases comply with IsssR’s safety requirements.
  • Address Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) raised by the Quality Manager.
  • Report all near-misses, unsafe acts, and conditions.

4. Governance & Compliance

  • Implement effective risk management and internal controls.
  • Maintain asset management procedures within the assigned responsibilities.

5. Additional Responsibilities

  • Assist with supplier management and account queries.
  • Ensure effective negotiation and coordination with suppliers and contractors.

Candidate Profile

Qualifications & Experience

  • Diploma in Purchasing & Materials Management or an equivalent qualification.
  • 1-2 years of experience in Procurement or Materials Planning (preferably in the oil industry).
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • Working knowledge of MRP, ERP systems (SAP preferred), and production lead-time management.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ONE MAESTRO standards.
