Key Responsibilities
✔ Invoice Processing & Data Capturing
- Match invoices with system orders to ensure accuracy.
- Process invoices with the correct VAT classification, cost centers, and ledger allocations.
- Ensure invoices are captured in the correct month for timely payments.
✔ Creditors Transactions & Reconciliation
- Capture supplier discounts, interest charges, and payments.
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any outstanding discrepancies.
- Submit reconciliations for approval to the Creditors Supervisor.
✔ Supplier Liaison & Query Resolution
- Communicate with suppliers to resolve invoice discrepancies and account errors.
- Investigate and correct account issues.
- Escalate unresolved issues to the Creditors Supervisor or Financial Manager.
✔ Record-Keeping & Compliance
- Maintain organized supplier ledgers and financial documentation.
- Ensure records are readily available for audits and compliance checks.
- Adhere to health, safety, and quality management systems.
Minimum Requirements
✔ Qualifications
- Grade 12 (Matric) required.
- Financial qualification (advantageous).
✔ Experience
- Minimum two years’ experience in creditors/accounts payable.
