Job Description
We are seeking a motivated District Manager to lead a team of insurance representatives in Jane Furse, Limpopo. The ideal candidate will be responsible for recruitment, training, sales target achievement, compliance, and market expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruit high-quality representatives timeously and accurately.
- Ensure all appointed representatives receive adequate training.
- Manage and optimize a team of insurance representatives.
- Achieve set insurance sales targets and ensure team performance.
- Ensure compliance with FAIS, FICA, LTIA, and other relevant legislation.
- Identify and manage risks effectively.
- Develop and expand insurance markets.
Requirements
✅ Education & Qualifications:
- Grade 12 (Matric).
- A suitable industry entry qualification within the requirements of the Financial Services Board.
- Compliance with FAIS legislation:
- 2004 – 2007 entrants: 30 credits on NQF 4 obtained by 31 December 2009.
- 2008 – 2009 entrants: 30 or 60 credits on NQF 4 by 31 December 2011 or a full FAIS-recognized qualification by 31 December 2013.
- 2010 onwards entrants: A full FAIS-recognized qualification is required.
✅ Experience & Certifications:
- RE5 certificate (Compulsory).
- RE1 certificate (Advantageous).
- Minimum 3 years’ proven success in Life Assurance Marketing.
- Clear ITC & criminal record.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transport, and cellphone.
