Job Introduction:
G4S Cash Solutions (SA), a leading provider of integrated cash management solutions, is seeking an ATM Custodian to join our Boksburg operations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring ATMs are replenished and operational at all times, maintaining high levels of security, and adhering to company policies and best practices.
As this role involves the handling of firearms, candidates must submit a valid medical certificate confirming their fitness to carry and use a firearm before employment can commence. This certificate should be no older than three monthsprior to the date of engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
ATM Uptime & Maintenance
- Ensure ATMs are stocked with cash and supplies as per order instructions.
- Liaise with the control center to resolve equipment issues promptly.
- Identify and address potential faults to prevent malfunctions.
- Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of ATM cubicles.
ATM Cash Replenishment
- Handle ATM cash according to company procedures, ensuring all bags and canisters are sealed.
- Balance cash at designated intervals (add or top-up).
- Follow correct ATM processes and enter accurate details into the system.
- Obtain slips for every replenishment.
- Report and address ATM cash discrepancies promptly.
- Ensure cash is safeguarded against unnecessary losses.
Deposits & Purge Bin Management
- Clear ATM deposits accurately and on time.
- Escalate irregular or flagged deposits to the BSO or designated officer.
- Ensure timely delivery of deposits to the bank or G4S cash center.
Reports & Reconciliation
- Complete and submit ATM reports according to the duty list.
- Control and deliver ATM slips to the cash center.
- Reconcile ATM cash daily as per procedures.
- Remain on-site until all balances are verified.
Ideal Candidate Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications & Experience:
✔ Grade 12 (Matric)
✔ PSIRA Grade C certification
✔ CIT (Cash-in-Transit) certification
✔ SAPS Firearm Competency (for Business Purposes)
✔ Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
Skills, Knowledge & Attributes:
- Strong knowledge of G4S Standard Operating Procedures
- Firearm competency
- High performance and results-driven attitude
- Customer service-oriented mindset
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain accuracy
SA citizens will be given preference.
