Introduction
We are currently recruiting for an experienced and motivated Store Manager to oversee the full operational management of our Kleinmond – Cape Town store. This role focuses on driving store performance, managing staff, and ensuring exceptional customer service while achieving financial goals.
Job description
As Store Manager, you will be responsible for the overall operations, profitability, and success of the store. You will lead the team to meet store targets, maintain high customer satisfaction, and ensure smooth daily operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage Store Profitability & Targets:
Lead the store to achieve financial goals and maximize profitability. - Stock Management:
Oversee inventory control, stock ordering, and stock levels to ensure smooth operations. - Pricing and POS Management:
Ensure accurate pricing, POS operations, and handling customer transactions. - Promotions & Marketing:
Manage in-store promotions, offers, and marketing activities to boost sales. - Hygiene & Housekeeping:
Maintain store cleanliness, hygiene, and visual merchandising standards. - Team Leadership:
Manage and develop staff, ensuring they provide top-tier customer service. - Customer Service Excellence:
Address customer needs and maintain a positive store atmosphere. - Store Opening and Closing:
Oversee store opening and closing procedures, ensuring compliance with safety standards. - Liaise with DC Staff:
Engage with Distribution Centre staff to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Matric / NQF level 4 or equivalent.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in retail management or similar leadership roles.
- Strong computer literacy.
- Industrial Relations experience required.
