Job Summary

Clover is looking for a Laboratory Technician to conduct basic laboratory tests, analyze samples, and report on results. The successful candidate will play a key role in quality assurance by ensuring microbiological and chemical testing is conducted accurately and efficiently.

Minimum Requirements

• National Diploma/Degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or related field
• 2–3 years of experience in laboratory testing and quality control
• Fluent in Business English
• Intermediate computer literacy
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Laboratory Equipment Maintenance & Operation

• Set up, maintain, and operate laboratory equipment
• Prepare and maintain stocks of chemical reagents, microbiological reagents, cultures, and media
• Ensure all equipment is used in compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs)

2. Sampling & Testing

• Prepare and analyze laboratory samples
• Isolate and identify microbial contaminants
• Conduct routine chemical and microbiological analysis
• Interpret and report test results
• Prepare microbiology-related validations and protocols

3. Record Keeping & Reporting

• Maintain accurate records of all tests and results
• Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures for record-keeping
• Report findings and anomalies to the relevant department
