Job Summary
Clover is looking for a Laboratory Technician to conduct basic laboratory tests, analyze samples, and report on results. The successful candidate will play a key role in quality assurance by ensuring microbiological and chemical testing is conducted accurately and efficiently.
Minimum Requirements
- National Diploma/Degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or related field
- 2–3 years of experience in laboratory testing and quality control
- Fluent in Business English
- Intermediate computer literacy
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays

Duties & Responsibilities
1. Laboratory Equipment Maintenance & Operation
- Set up, maintain, and operate laboratory equipment
- Prepare and maintain stocks of chemical reagents, microbiological reagents, cultures, and media
- Ensure all equipment is used in compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs)
2. Sampling & Testing
- Prepare and analyze laboratory samples
- Isolate and identify microbial contaminants
- Conduct routine chemical and microbiological analysis
- Interpret and report test results
- Prepare microbiology-related validations and protocols
3. Record Keeping & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of all tests and results
- Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures for record-keeping
- Report findings and anomalies to the relevant department
