We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Facilities, Health & Safety Manager to join our LLS Warehouse in Centurion. Purpose of the Role
The Facilities, Health & Safety Manager will be responsible for ensuring compliance with operational and health & safety standards at the warehouse. The role involves overseeing strategic planning for building maintenance, facility budgets, managing third-party contractors, and ensuring the safety and well-being of all warehouse occupants.
Key Outcomes
Stakeholder Engagement & Compliance
- Manage adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLA) with service providers.
- Conduct self-audits to ensure operations meet company requirements.
- Engage with relevant stakeholders (Risk, Maintenance, Safety leaders) on operational matters.
Health & Safety Compliance
- Ensure legal compliance with OHASA regulations and relevant health & safety requirements.
- Update and display all relevant OHASA documents and ensure necessary appointments (e.g., 16.1 and 16.2) are in place.
- Oversee employee training on emergency procedures, health & safety, and first aid.
- Ensure all incidents and accidents are recorded and addressed per company policy.
Facility Maintenance & Hygiene
- Oversee facility management, ensuring hygiene, safety, and maintenance standards are met.
- Liaise with centre management and contractors regarding facility maintenance issues (e.g., plumbing, electricity, parking).
- Implement key control, access control, and CCTV measures for security and compliance.
Operational Efficiency & Staff Management
- Enforce and maintain store operational policies, procedures, and processes.
- Oversee effective workforce planning and management in line with legislation and people policies.
- Lead, develop, and retain staff, driving Integrated Performance Management processes.
- Assist with warehouse operations, including weekend and off-duty shifts.
Job Requirements

Education:
- Grade 12 or equivalent (NQF Level 4).
- Relevant tertiary education is an advantage.
- SAMTRAC certification is required.

Experience:
- 3-10 years of managerial experience in a retail or logistics environment.
- Proven experience in facility management and health & safety compliance.
- Valid driver’s license.

Skills & Competencies:
- In-depth knowledge of health & safety regulations and warehouse operations.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage contractors, service providers, and internal teams effectively.
- Proactive in driving compliance and ensuring a safe, productive work environment.
