Job Description
Hyundai The Glen is seeking a qualified Petrol/Diesel Technician to join its team. The successful candidate will be responsible for repairing and servicing motor vehicles in accordance with Motus standards and franchise specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Vehicle Repairs & Servicing
✔️ Diagnose, repair, and service vehicles as per franchise specifications.
✔️ Identify and order correct parts required for repairs.
✔️ Report additional work requirements to the Foreman/Service Advisor.
✔️ Obtain authorization before proceeding with additional work.
✔️ Use technical information from Foreman/Master Technician for complex jobs.
✔️ Accurately record all oils and consumables used on job cards.
Workshop Compliance & Safety
✔️ Follow Motus workshop policies and procedures.
✔️ Keep vehicles clean and organized during servicing.
✔️ Store old parts properly (place in plastic bags inside the vehicle, except for warranty work).
✔️ Clock worked hours accurately.
✔️ Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
✔️ Report any faulty or broken equipment to the Foreman/Workshop Manager.
✔️ Ensure special tools and equipment are used as per safety standards.
✔️ Follow hand tool standards as per Motus requirements.
Mentorship & Additional Duties
✔️ Assist and train apprentices, imparting technical knowledge.
✔️ Support team members and perform additional tasks as requested by Management.
Qualifications & Experience
✅ Qualified Petrol/Diesel Technician
✅ Experience working with various vehicle models and brands

✔️ Strong technical knowledge in vehicle servicing and repairs
✔️ Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
✔️ Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
✔️ Excellent teamwork and communication skills
✔️ Adherence to workshop safety regulations
