Key Performance Areas
- Provide AWESOME customer service to ensure a WOW experience for every customer.
- Attend to each customer’s unique shopping needs, always putting the customer first.
- Ensure customers receive prompt and relevant service on the sales floor and by telephone.
- Adhere to all customer service standards to guarantee satisfaction.
- Assess customers’ requirements and advise on product range, pricing, and warranties.
- Demonstrate, explain, and advise on products to customers.
- Promote and sell goods, with a focus on add-on sales and services.
- Ensure goods are correctly priced and displayed.
- Execute sales promotions on time and plan ahead for execution.
- Follow all merchandising layouts and housekeeping standards and schedules.
- Implement and maintain advertised sales promotions in a timely manner.
- Report on fast and slow-selling items to the Store Manager.
- Participate in stock takes and stock counts.
- Minimize stock loss and expenses in your area of responsibility.
- Maximize sales in all areas of the store.
- Protect the company’s assets within your area of responsibility.
Entry Requirements
- Matric Certificate
- 6 months of retail experience
- Must have own or reliable transport to work shifts
General
- Undertake any relevant duties requested by Senior Management.
- Complete all mandatory and service training as required.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of all company information.
- Participate in regular appraisals and personal development reviews.
- Stay up-to-date with current Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Fully cooperate in the introduction of new technology and methods.
